Deposits, Cancellations & Refunds Policy

Effective Date: August 13, 2023

1. Introduction

At Goodstock, our commitment is to provide outstanding live music performance services for your events. We understand that plans can change, and our aim is to offer a transparent and fair deposits, cancellations and refunds process to ensure your satisfaction. This policy outlines the guidelines for cancellations, deposits, and refunds, including the process, conditions, time frames, and associated costs.

2. Cancellations and Refunds Process

2.1 Cancellations and Refunds: We recognise that unexpected events can disrupt even the most meticulously planned occasions. In such situations, our support is unwavering. If you need to cancel your booking due to specific unfortunate unforeseen circumstances, you may qualify for a refund, provided the cancellation is made at least 14 days before the scheduled event date.

Unfortunate Unforeseen Circumstances Include, but are not limited to:

· Serious Medical Condition: A sudden, severe illness or medical emergency affecting a key participant or an immediate family member, rendering event participation unfeasible.

· Unforeseen Legal Obligations: Unanticipated legal duties like jury duty or court appearances that impede your ability to host the event.

· Venue Unavailability: Unplanned venue unavailability due to unforeseen factors beyond your control.

· Natural Disasters: Unforeseen natural disasters or extreme weather conditions that compromise event safety or feasibility.

Refund Process for Unfortunate Unforeseen Circumstances:

1. Notification: If faced with such a situation, promptly inform us at peteashton83@gmail.com (additional contact details on emailed and confirmed booking contract/worksheet).

2. Documentation: Provide supporting documents such as medical certificates, legal notices, or relevant evidence substantiating the unforeseen circumstances.

3. Review and Assessment: We will assess your case, considering the provided documentation, to determine if it aligns with our unfortunate unforeseen circumstances policy.

4. Refund Determination: If eligible, we will determine the refund amount based on circumstances and applicable administrative fees.

5. Processing: Upon receipt of required documents, your refund will be processed within 5-10 business days.

Exceptions and Conditions:

Please be aware that while we strive to accommodate your needs, not all situations may fall under this policy. Feel free to contact us for clarification and assistance.

2.2 Returns: Returns do not apply to live music performance services. However, if you encounter any issues during the event, please notify us immediately, and we’ll work closely with you to address concerns and offer a satisfactory resolution.

3. Deposits and Payment

3.1 Deposit Requirement: To secure your live music performance booking, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the agreed fee (or as otherwise negotiated) is essential at the time of booking. This deposit secures your chosen date and facilitates necessary preparations.

3.2 Remaining Payment: The remaining performance fee balance is due on the event day or within 5 days of the scheduled event. Failure to make the deposit within 14 days of booking may lead to booking cancellation.

4. Contact Information
